Overview
Role: Video + Motion Graphics Editor, Project Manager, Vendor Manager
Focus: Project Management, Video Editing, Video Scripting
A video series filmed in five different locations using local vendors and edited in house for consistency. The videos spotlight how community organizations use Compassion & Choices’ end-of-life decision guides and dementia planning toolkits.
Rochester, NY - (5:16 minutes)

A Note on Audio: For the Rochester feature, a subject requested the inclusion of music recorded by her late partner. To honor this without buried dialogue, I used the full vocal performance to bookend the narrative title cards, while mixing the isolated instrumental track down to serve as the ambient background score for the rest of the video.
Helena, MT - (4:25 minutes)

Milwaukee, WI - (4:01 minutes)

Detroit, MI - (3:59 minutes)

Oxford, MS - (3:28 minutes)

Impact
The series successfully bridged the gap between complex, text-heavy print tools and deeply human video storytelling, spotlighting the organization's toolkits in a meaningful way. Centralizing the editing process kept the visual identity completely tight across multiple states while avoiding external costs. Ultimately, the finished series gave the organization a concrete tool to show at conferences and present to new potential partners to demonstrate exactly how the print guides work in real communities.
